GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF THE SOCIAL HOUSING PROJECT IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE AND RESIDENTIAL AREA OF LONG CHÂU WARD, VĨNH LONG PROVINCE – DECOFI PROUDLY CONTRIBUTES A SMALL PART TO THE NATION’S DEVELOPMENT

Continuing its journey of delivering construction works with practical value for the community, the Long Chau Ward Social Housing Project marks another milestone demonstrating DECOFI’s strong sense of social responsibility in joining efforts to address housing needs for civil servants, public employees, workers, and laborers in the area.
 

The ceremony was held in a formal and dignified manner, with the attendance of representatives from the Vinh Long Provincial People’s Committee, local departments and agencies, representatives of Phú Cường Group, DECOFI’s leadership and site management team, along with construction units and relevant partners. The event officially marked the commencement of the project, opening a new phase in the development of a construction work of profound social significance.


 

The project is developed on a land area of approximately 5,800 square meters, with a scale of 456 apartments designed to accommodate around 1,820 residents. In addition to residential blocks, the project includes synchronized investment in technical infrastructure within the site, such as internal roads, green spaces, water supply systems, stormwater and wastewater drainage, and public lighting. With a total investment of nearly VND 614 billion, the project aims to create a safe, convenient, and sustainable living environment.


 

Speaking at the ceremony, leaders of Vĩnh Long Province emphasized the importance of close coordination among departments and agencies in facilitating favorable conditions for contractors to accelerate construction progress, ensure quality standards, and bring the project into operation at the earliest possible time, thereby contributing to improved living standards and enhanced social welfare in the locality.
