INAUGURATION OF PHASE 1 AND GROUND-BREAKING CEREMONY FOR PHASE 2 OF THE NEW ERA COLD STORAGE SYSTEM - DECOFI AS THE MAIN CONTRACTOR

On December 22, 2023, in Long An, a significant event marked by joy and anticipation, the Inauguration of Phase 1 and Ground-Breaking Ceremony for Phase 2 of the NECS Cold Storage System project took place, signaling the beginning of a new era in our journey of development and innovation.

The ceremony gathered a diverse audience, including esteemed investors, leaders from the Ministry of Agriculture, provincial authorities, representatives from Nam A Bank, the main contractor DECOFI, valued partners, and media representatives.

The NECS cold storage system is the largest and most advanced in Southeast Asia, covering an area of nearly 4.3 hectares, with a total capacity for two phases reaching up to 145,000 pallets. Phase 1 of the warehouse is currently operational, boasting an impressive capacity of over 30,000 pallets and a deep freezing temperature range of -18°C to -20°C, specializing in frozen goods such as seafood, meat, fruits, and frozen foods.

DECOFI builds trust and affirms confidence with the investors by successfully inaugurating Phase 1 of the Cold Storage System, which is now 75% filled. Following this success, DECOFI continues as the main contractor for Phase 2 of the project, with a capacity of nearly 115,000 pallets and a warehouse floor area of 18,000 m2. DECOFI, as the general contractor, pledges to deliver project components to the Investor on schedule, ensuring safety and quality.
