DECOFI JOINS THE "LIGHTING UP THE BORDERLANDS" PROGRAM

Driven by this spirit, DECOFI is honored to partner with the "Lighting Up the Borderlands" Program, organized by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, to help bring light to remote border communities in Lâm Đồng Province.

As part of this meaningful initiative, DECOFI donated solar-powered street lights to the areas surrounding four border guard stations: Nam Na, Dak Ken, Dak M'Bai, and Dak Dam. Beyond the donation itself, DECOFI representatives worked alongside border guards and student volunteers to install the lighting systems on roads and public spaces where illumination was most needed, contributing to safer living conditions and creating a more supportive environment for local residents and schoolchildren.



As each solar light was erected across the mountainous landscape, it did more than brighten roads, residential areas, and public spaces. It became a symbol of solidarity, compassion, and shared responsibility—reflecting the belief that every community, regardless of its location, deserves access to better living conditions and greater opportunities for growth.

Throughout the journey, the delegation also visited the Nam Na, Dak Ken, Dak M'Bai, and Đak Đam Border Guard Stations to meet and encourage the officers and soldiers who tirelessly safeguard Vietnam's national borders. Their stories of resilience, unwavering commitment, and quiet sacrifice left a profound impression on everyone involved, reminding us of the enduring values of dedication, service, and patriotism.
